Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Qatar Q3 2021

During the third quarter of 2021, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Qatar showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app’s performance.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady trend in weekly downloads, ranging from approximately 1.8K to 2.5K. The app peaked in the week of August 30 with 2.5K downloads. Active users showed a gradual increase from around 24K at the start of the quarter, reaching a high of nearly 26K by the end of September.

Careem – rides, food & more experienced a fluctuating download pattern, starting with 858 downloads in the first week of July and peaking at 895 in the last week of August. Active users showed a slight decline initially but rebounded to close the quarter with about 12.6K users, similar to the start.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a modest download rate, with numbers ranging from 91 to 292 downloads per week. Despite the lower download figures, active users grew steadily from 397 at the beginning of the quarter to 826 by the end, indicating a growing user base.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery showed a peak in downloads in mid-July with 302 downloads, but numbers declined towards the end of the quarter. Active users, however, remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 900 and 1.2K, ending the quarter with a slight dip.

Finally, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a consistent weekly download rate with a notable peak of 253 downloads in the last week of September. Active users grew from about 1K at the beginning of the quarter to 1.2K by the end, showing a positive trend.
